Cycle for a Cause on June 14!
NCCAkron Benefit Ride
Friday, June 14 - 7:30am-8:30am
Be a part of the creative cycle and support NCCAkron! Join us at Harness, Downtown Cleveland's boutique cycling studio, for a benefit ride.
Your donation of $30 — just $5 more than the cost of a regular ride at Harness — gets you a beat-driven spin class followed by carbs and coffee to start your morning off right.
Whether you're a Northeast Ohio local or visiting town for the Dance/USA conference, we'd love to have you in the saddle with us.
Class will be 45 minutes long. Harness has fully-equipped changing rooms with showers and lockers to store belongings (no lock necessary), as well as water fountains on site and bottled water available for purchase. Wear something comfortable and easy to move in; Harness recommends a tee or tank on top and fitted pants or shorts on the bottom. Harness bikes are clip-in only to guarantee a a safe and stable ride; shoes will be available at the front desk.
We look forward to seeing you there!
Harness Cycle is a beat-driven Cleveland-based cycle studio offering exercise for mind and body. Harness offers all cyclists — whether learning to clip in for the first time or riding five days a week — a chance to move to heart-pounding dance music in a sanctuary setting with candlelight. Turning off the lights encourages riders to focus on their mind, heartbeat, muscles and movement.
NCCAkron was founded in 2015 with lead funding from the Knight Foundation after a rigorous study led by local dance presenter DANCECleveland. It provides resources for dance makers to think, create, and be inspired. NCCAkron programs have included technical residencies, making dance films, exploring native intelligence within contemporary idioms, fostering body-based work in gallery spaces, co-sponsoring grantwriting interns, cultivating female choreographers, and investing in dance writing... and we're still evolving and becoming!
