Dancing Lab: What Constitutes American Dance? | 2023
In February and March 2023, Aparna Ramaswamy and Ranee Ramaswamy worked with NCCAkron to co-design convenings with US and international presenters to help inform their company's artistic development and trajectory. Two focus groups gathered during Ragamala Dance Company's tour of Fires of Varanasi and included conversations around the question: "What constitutes American dance?"
