Creative Administration Research

The application period for the Creative Administration Research program opens September 5, 2023, and closes October 5, 2023 at 5pm ET.

Through this open application, NCCAkron will welcome a new CAR cohort of up to three Artist Teams. Teams include the Artist, a curated Thought Partner, and NCCAkron team members. Each Artist Team engages in Investigative Retreats to reflect on their body of work, examine critical pain points across operations, and imagine multiple ways forward.

Questions?

Artists are also invited to attend CAR Office Hours to speak with an NCCAkron team member in real time. Attendance is not required to apply to the program, but advance registration is requested if you wish to attend. Click on the date/time to RSVP.

NCCAkron’s Creative Administration Research (CAR) aims to challenge the dance ecosystem to think beyond the boundaries of known, traditional models.

In 2022 and 2023, all active Artist Teams gathered in Akron, OH for Summit Convenings to exchange experiences and working knowledge accumulated to date.
