Ginger Krebs makes objects and performances that address the vulnerability of bodies in the face of violence by remote or invisible actors, on the one hand, and the seductive mirages promoted by advertising, on the other. Her work has been presented work recently in Chicago at The Arts Club of Chicago, the Chicago Artists Coalition, the Storefront Theater, the Hyde Park Art Center, and the Museum of Contemporary Art. She is an Adjunct Associate Professor in Performance and Contemporary Practices at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
Krebs holds a BA from The College of William & Mary, a BFA from The School of The Art Institute of Chicago, and an MFA from The University of Illinois at Chicago.
