Dancing Conversation: TWISTalk | We Three Queens of Body and Mind

A Dancing Conversation about taking up space and time in body and mind, moderated by Annie Hoffman with psychologist Tracy Alloway, somatic movement educator Toranika Washington, and choreographer Adele Myers.

Dancing Conversations are free public events that locate dance among broader topics and offer an opportunity to demonstrate the aesthetic range within the dance field. This Dancing Conversation is the final in a series of TWISTalks: community gatherings connected to Adele Myers and Dancers' new dance theater project, T.W.I.S.T. An acronym for These Women in Space and Time, T.W.I.S.T. explores acts of female solidarity through Myers’ signature fusion of personal theatricality and robust physicality. T.W.I.S.T. will premiere in April 2022 at the South Miami Dade Cultural Arts Center in Miami, FL.

Annie Hoffman will moderate, with Myers and T.W.I.S.T research partners Dr. Tracy Alloway (award-winning psychologist and author of Think Like a Girl) and Toranika Washington (somatic educator and leadership coach, and founder of Somatic Soul Food) as guests.
