Creative Administration Research Summit Convening: June 2-4, 2022 Akron, OH

NCCAkron’s multi-year Creative Administration Research (CAR) program aims to challenge the dance ecosystem to think beyond the boundaries of known, traditional models.

In 2022, all current Artist Teams — comprising choreographers, administrative leaders, Thought Partners, and NCCAkron team members — were invited to Akron, OH for a weekend of programming around creative administration to exchange experiences and accumulated working knowledge.

Later this summer, we'll release recordings of the CAR Summit Convening Opening Plenary (Artist as Model for the New Socioeconomic Normal with Marc Bamuthi Joseph and Christy Bolingbroke) and Closing Plenary (Money, Mindset, and Motivation: Where Artist Meets Enterprise with Elena Muslar, Antuan Byers, Indira Goodwine, jumatatu poe, and Rosie Herrera) as special episodes of our Inside the Dancer's Studio podcast.

Sign up for our email newsletter and subscribe to our podcast to be the first to hear these special episodes!
